The 27th annual Dairy Forum, held this week in La Quinta, Calif., drew more than 900 processors, producers, suppliers and industry participants, matching last year's record attendance. With the focus on the geopolitics of food, Dairy Forum speakers agreed that the growing global population and increasing consumer demands will require new technology, innovative products and a fresh approach to dairy policy.

According to Connie Tipton, IDFA president and CEO, "Whatever we put into this year will be worth it to capture all the opportunities that are before us."
