The National Labor Relations Board has postponed again the effective date of its employee rights notice-posting rule requiring employers to notify workers of their right to form a union. The postponement came at the request of the federal court in Washington, D.C., that is hearing a legal challenge regarding the rule. The new implementation date is April 30, 2012.

The rule was scheduled to go into effect at the end of this month, following a previous postponement to allow for additional education and outreach to small and medium-sized businesses.
