Updated IDFA Milk Labeling Manual Available in Searchable PDF Format

Nov 16, 2011

IDFA's newly revised Milk and Milk Products Labeling Manual includes comprehensive information on all aspects of labeling, such as standards of identity and product name, net contents statements, ingredient listing, allergen information, nutrition labeling, nutrient-content claims, qualified-health claims and structure/function claims. A reference chart shows key labeling requirements and exemptions for retail, foodservice and bulk foods, along with dairy product examples and a database for calculating nutrition values.

Still available in print, the 450-page manual now comes in a searchable PDF version that is compatible with laptops and iPads. View the Table of Contents here.
