The latest edition of "Dairy Research Insights" includes a report from the American Academy of Pediatrics that children and teens have little need for beverages containing carbohydrates other than milk and fruit juice.

The newsletter also highlights three studies that show how eating breakfast, especially when it includes dairy foods, may improve nutrient intake and offer a strategy for managing weight.

The findings for the e-newsletter are selected and interpreted each month by members of the Dairy Research Institute's team of scientists. Read the full newsletter here.
