IDFA Co-Sponsors TPP Reception Supporting Common Cheese Names

Jun 29, 2011

IDFA, in cooperation with U.S. and global industry partners, hosted a reception in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, last week as a part of the latest round of talks on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) regional trade agreement. IDFA, the National Milk Producers Federation, the U.S. Dairy Export Council and the New Zealand and Australian dairy industries held the reception to highlight to high-level negotiators the importance of safeguarding the continued use of common cheese names as part of the agreement.
