IDFA Introduces New Webinar on CIP, Packaging Operations

IDFA will introduce a new webinar next month to help dairy processors maximize capacity from existing assets. The webinar, "A Plant Manager's Perspective: Clean-In-Place and Packaging Operations," sponsored by IDFA Business Partner Invensys Operations Management, will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern time.

This free webinar is open to all dairy industry employees. Attendees will learn how to increase packaging-line productivity by improving measuring-equipment and line data. They'll also discover how real-time information and control can help to reduce the company's environmental footprint, mitigate food-quality risks and significantly reduce unit costs and chemical usage.

Kirby Powell, director of automation and information technology for Kline Process Systems, will share practical solutions currently used by several companies. Joining Kirby will be Yves Dufort, director of global industry solutions, food, beverage and CPG industry, for Invensys Operations Management. He will discuss packaging solutions used by world-class food producers.

The webinar is designed for plant executives, operations managers, cleaning and sanitizing personnel, quality assurance and maintenance professionals, plant engineers and information technology managers.
