Communicators Practice Crisis Skills at Seattle Drill

Apr 09, 2010

Lee Mielke of DairyLine Radio (pictured far left) and Kate Sander of Cheese Market News were invited guests at the March 31 dairy industry crisis communications drill in Seattle, where they played investigative reporters in a fictitious crisis scenario. Mielke called the training "tough, intensive and vital" in his Dairyline.com Blog this week.

The regional drills are sponsored by Dairy Management Inc. and facilitated by other members of the Dairy Communication Management Team, including representatives from IDFA, the Milk Processor Education Program, National Milk Producers Federation and the U.S. Dairy Export Council.
