The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) recently announced exciting new plans for the 2010 Milk Mustache Mobile "Milk the Moment" Tour. The 13th annual mobile tour will help celebrate those special family moments shared around the dinner table. It's designed to show moms that serving milk at dinnertime is an easy and affordable way to help all family members get the nutrition they need.
"Every year, MilkPEP implements changes to help make the tour more effective and efficient," said Miranda Abney, MilkPEP marketing communications manager. "We want to do our best to reach and engage families while a being good steward of processor dollars."
For 2010, all tour stops will be held at high-traffic, consumer-focused locations, such as fairs and festivals, malls and zoos. The goal is to increase the number of moms who engage directly with the tour, as well as with processor brands and products.
MilkPEP will not be hosting retail events but encourages processors to invite key retailers to consumer events as a way to increase their visibility. A tour kit with more ideas to involve retail accounts will be sent to processors shortly. Learn more here.
