Joining with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and more than 1,500 other businesses and associations, IDFA signed a letter to Congress outlining concerns with current health care reform proposals. The groups argued that legislation currently being considered would not improve the system, but would jeopardize the parts of the system that currently work. IDFA, whose 220 dairy companies employ more than 120,000 people, supports the call for reform that would lower health care costs, improve the quality of care and provide greater access to affordable coverage.
