This Halloween, Treat Your Bones with Chocolate Milk

Jul 25, 2009

In 2008, MilkPEP’s Halloween program drove one million incremental gallons per week during the four-week promotion, halting recent declines in flavored milk sales. Once again, MilkPEP is declaring chocolate milk the "Official Drink of Halloween” to motivate moms to bring home the Halloween treat that’s good for kids. The 2009 promotion offers a new spine-tingling wellness message: milk helps maintain bone health, strong muscles and overall strength. Processors can move milk sales by signing up retail accounts for the feature incentive promotion by August 17. Hispanic “El Día de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead) point-of-sale materials are available for Spanish-speaking markets. Visit MilkPEP to learn more.
