Updated Allergen Labeling Guidance Now Available from IDFA

Oct 14, 2008

Are your allergen labels up to date and in compliance? How do you guard against cross-contact in your plants? IDFA's newly revised "Allergens Guidelines and Best Industry Practices" answers these and many more questions regarding allergens labeling and in-plant management. It's now available to members for $80 and to non-members for $100 at our Bookstore. The manual includes an updated section on federal labeling requirements mandated by the 2004 Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) and a new section on the voluntary use of food allergy icons in plants and warehouses.
