New Hispanic Video Series Reinforces Milk's Role at Breakfast

May 23, 2012

Actress Salma Hayek and TV personality Lili Estefan are among the famous Milk Mustache personalities who will share personal stories, childhood memories and parenting philosophies in an online video series hosted by the Milk Processor Education Program. The celebrities also will discuss how important it is to start the day with a healthy breakfast that includes milk.

The series will include topics such as raising bilingual children, tips for raising a healthy family, their definition of success and what being an alum of the National Hispanic Milk Mustache campaign has meant to them. They are part of MilkPEP's 2012 Hispanic programs, which offer Latina moms a culturally relevant and fun approach to reinforcing milk's vital role at breakfast.

The 35 videos will be available on the Proyecto Desayuno website, which shows how and why to get a healthy breakfast-at-home routine. Visitors can explore recipes and tips from celebrities and top registered dietitians like Su-Nui Escobar, behind-the-scenes videos of celebrity ad shoots and videos from other moms revealing their morning routines.

For more information, contact Victor Zaborsky, MilkPEP director of marketing and communications, at vzaborsky@milkpep.org or (202) 220-3515.
