  • National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS) on HACCP:
In 1999, NCIMS initiated a voluntary dairy HACCP pilot program fro dairy plants to test the concept that a HACCP program could function as an equal alternative to the numerical ratings that have been used for years to measure a plant's compliance. On January 1, 2004, this pilot program became an official voluntary alternative regulatory program to the NCIMS's traditional plant regulatory inspection program that is based on the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).
  • U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on HACCP:
FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition provides a variety of HACCP information for several food industries. In particular, you can find out more about FDA's Juice HACCP rule and the NCIMS voluntary HACCP voluntary program for dairy.
  • Codex Alimentarius:
Codex provides documents on the use of HACCP for addressing international or global food safety concerns.
