Shell Polymers is in the process of building a polyethylene cracker plant in Monaca, Pa., where it will produce grades of high-density polyethylene and linear, low-density polyethylene. Dairy will be one of Shell's key industries. It is also building an on-site application hall, which will house industrial-size equipment for resin testing, customer-focused trials, research and development and more. One machine will be focused on dairy applications.
