How do dairy companies change “disruptive technology” from buzzword to business plan? Michael Steep, executive director of the Stanford Engineering Center for Disruptive Technology and Digital Cities, says three steps are key: be aware of new technology, apply it to particular problems and adapt to resulting opportunities. 

Steep, whose career spans leadership positions in global operations at HP, Apple, IBM, Microsoft and PARC, a Xerox company, will share insights with dairy executives at Dairy Forum 2019 in Orlando, Florida. The event, scheduled for January 20-23, will examine the path forward to growth and prosperity for dairy.

In his session “Getting Ahead of Disruptive Technologies," Steep will share strategies for success and reveal processes companies can use to transform disruptive technology into more opportunities.
