IDFA invites members to attend ProFood Live, a new conference in June devoted to real-world solutions in manufacturing, automation and sustainability. ProFood Live is hosted by PMMI Media Group, a division of PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, which partners with IDFA and Koelnmesse in producing the biennial ProFood Tech trade show.
The new conference will be held June 20-21, 2018, at the Westin Chicago Northwest. IDFA members will receive a 10 percent discount on conference registration.
“The event is designed to give processors, suppliers and service providers the opportunity to network, learn more about common issues facing the food and beverage manufacturing industry and discover solutions,” said Neil Moran, IDFA senior vice president of finance, administration and the trade show. “The offering of rich content within a compact agenda will appeal to food and beverage professionals who struggle to find the time for educational opportunities and industry networking.”
ProFood Live aims to attract professionals working in production, engineering, plant operations, sustainability, quality and procurement. The session topics will include:
- Addressing today's crucial challenges in manufacturing
- Trends in food processing operations
- Managing capital spending through total cost of ownership
- Why digitalization should be your number one priority
- Using remote machine access to improve process efficiency
The event also will feature the Manufacturing Innovation and Sustainability Excellence in Manufacturing Awards offered each year by ProFood World, the magazine published by PMMI Media Group.
Early-bird registration rates are available through June 1. More details and online registration are available here.
Members with questions may contact Jessica Matsko, IDFA coordinator of administration and accounting services, at email@example.com.
ProFood Tech will return March 26-28, 2019, in Chicago.
