The farm bill approved last month by the House Committee on Agriculture “empowers dairy processors and producers with key provisions that will allow us to enhance the American economy,” said Michael Dykes, D.V.M., IDFA president and CEO, in his latest column for Cheese Market News.

He noted that the provisions represent shared solutions offered by IDFA and National Milk Producers Federation and demonstrate the positive outcomes that can be gained through sustained industry collaboration.

“It’s a shining example of what we can accomplish when we work together to make a positive difference for dairy,” he said.
