Although recent headlines regarding U.S. dairy exports have centered on Mexico and Canada, the dairy industry’s top markets, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is continuing to foster expansion of American exports to China, the third largest market for U.S. dairy. USDA will host its next Agricultural Trade Mission in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China, May 21-25, and IDFA members are invited to participate.

The trade mission will connect U.S. agricultural participants with potential customers and allow them to take part in briefings and site visits to learn first-hand about conducting business in the region. South China is a major import hub and a growing market for many U.S. agricultural exports, which averages $8 billion annually.

Member companies that are interested in expanding their exports in South China are encouraged to apply to join the trade mission. The application deadline is March 15.
