The Listeria Research Consortium was created last year by the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy to identify science-based solutions that will further protect consumers. The consortium recently joined with the National Dairy Council to seek preliminary proposals for ways to improve the understanding of Listeria monocytogenes and to identify new tools to control these bacteria in dairy foods and facilities.

The deadline for submitting preliminary proposals is September 16. Members of the consortium and NDC will contact selected applicants in October to ask them to submit full proposals by December 9.

For more details and to submit a preliminary proposal, visit Product Research Active Calls on the NDC website.
