USDA Forecasts Slight Increase in U.S. Sugar Supply

The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report, released on November 10 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, reflects a slight increase in projected U.S. sugar supply for fiscal year 2014/15. It raises last month’s projection from 13,689 short tons, raw value, to 13,742 STRV.

The projected stock-to-use ratio for fiscal year 2014/15 decreased to 12.2 percent, down from 12.8 percent last month.
