IDFA Argues against Similar Labeling Rule in Kansas

The Kansas Department of Agriculture last week held an informal meeting to discuss its proposed draft rule on absence claims, which mirrors Ohio's original rule, with industry stakeholders. IDFA Senior Group Vice President Clay Hough attended the meeting and presented testimony, urging the Kansas Department of Agriculture to drop the proposed regulation and continue to follow the Food and Drug Administration's guidelines for dairy product labeling.
