House Plans Two More Field Hearings for 2007 Farm Bill
The House Agriculture Committee's next two Farm Bill field hearings will take place on March 3 in Stockton, Calif; and March 4 in Nebraska City, Neb. The first two hearings were held last week in Fayetteville, N.C., and Auburn, Ala. IDFA encourages processors to participate in the hearings as they occur in locations near their operations. "We have to participate actively in these hearings, and in all dialogue leading to the new Farm Bill," said IDFA Senior Vice President Chip Kunde.
