Hotel Information

Dairy Forum will be held at the J.W. Marriott Desert Springs. Make reservations online directly with the hotel or by calling (877) 622-3140 to reserve your room. When calling, refer to IDFA’s Dairy Forum to receive the special room rate of $259 a night plus applicable taxes. The deadline to secure a room is January 5, 2018. We have reserved a large block of rooms, but once all the rooms have been booked, we cannot guarantee that additional space will be available.  

If you are trying to make a reservation and find the Dairy Forum room block to be full on any/all nights of your stay, please contact to be placed on the hotel waitlist. We are certain that additional rooms at the J.W. Marriott Desert Springs will be available in the upcoming weeks.

The nearest major airport is the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). This airport has international and domestic flights and is approximately 12 miles from the resort. Estimated taxi fare: $50.00 one way.

Tip Tipton Memorial Golf Tournament: 8:00 AM

Highly acclaimed architect Ted Robinson, who is called the “King of Waterscapes,” designed both the Palm and Valley Courses at Desert Springs. True to his signature style, there's more water on these two championship courses than you can shake a 9-iron at. Both courses offer golfers beautifully landscaped waterways and rolling fairways to challenge their skills, with exceptional views of the Santa Rosa Mountains in the distance. Hollywood stars and golf pros have been teeing off here for years and for good reason. The morning golf tournament will take place on the Valley Course. The afternoon tournament will be played on the Palm Course.
Registration Fee: $235 per person 
Registration includes: greens fees, boxed breakfast or boxed lunch, cart fees, practice balls, beverages and service fees. Appropriate golf attire and shoes are required.

Round-robin play will determine the top seed. Enjoy the ultimate experience at one of the most comprehensive resort tennis programs in the world. The editors of TENNIS Magazine named Desert Springs to its annual “Top 50 Tennis Resorts in the U.S.” list, a compilation of the best and most noteworthy tennis resorts across the country. The tennis program at Desert Springs is ranked as one of the top 10 in the country. It has gained special recognition for its Grand Slam Round Robin, Peter Burwash International Tennis Shows and a large variety of offerings, including 20 courts housing all three play surfaces: clay, grass and hard.
Registration Fee: $115 per person 
Registration includes: court fees, boxed lunch, cart fees, practice balls, beverages and service fees. Appropriate tennis attire and shoes are required. 

Spouse Activities

A Revitalizing Yoga and Health Activity
Monday 01.22 
9:30 AM - NOON 
Guests will be treated to a full yoga class guided by a professional instructor who will help you harmonize your centers of energy, or chakras. Following the yoga class, the instructor will speak about health and fitness with a focus on the FIT Principle, which balances frequency, intensity and time of training to provide maximum cardiovascular, strength and flexibility benefits. Guests will leave with new tips and techniques to use at home.
Registration Fee: $95 per person 
Registration includes:yoga class, health and fitness presentation and light refreshments. Yoga mats will be provided for participants. 

Palm Springs Wine Tasting
Tuesday 01.23 
12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Guests will enjoy tastings of a variety of the best wines and food pairings that Southern California has to offer. The wine expert will guide the group through the wine tastings, explaining the origin of each vintage and what sets it apart from other wines. The session will combine education and entertainment to create a truly memorable experience.
Registration Fee: $95 per person 
Registration includes: five (5) different wines to taste along with five (5) different foods items paired with the wines.
