My wife Cyndi and I have been married for 35 years and we have no children. We currently reside in Ripon, CA.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Liberal Studies from Neumann College in Aston, PA. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Food Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA
My career in dairy began more than 40 years ago. I started at Fike’s Dairy (now United Dairy) in Uniontown, PA. Fike’s manufactured and sold fluid milk and Ice Cream Products in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic markets. While working there, I helped balance the ice cream mix formulas after attending the Penn State Ice Cream Short Course.
The parent company of Fike’s Dairy, Protein Dairies, Inc. at the time purchased a Novelty Ice Cream Plant in Laurel, MD. I was the Vice President of Operations while operating that plant and that operations was later sold to Nestle’s. My experience includes working for nearly 10 years as Director of Dairy at Wawa, Inc. in Media, PA.
I also worked for 13 years with Dean Foods as Director of Operations, Northeast responsible for as many as 13 plant operations during that time.
My current role is Chief Operating Officer with Crystal Creamery, Inc. Crystal comprises two manufacturing plants in Modesto and Fernbridge, CA.
