Renée Peets, CPA

Sr. Vice President, Procurement North America, Kraft Heinz

Renée Peets is a global supply chain & procurement executive & CPA with more than 25 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Restaurant industries.  She joined Kraft Heinz in February 2020 to lead Procurement for North America.  Renée has extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, agricultural commodities, supplier management, and value delivery to fuel growth.  She is a member of the Kraft Heinz North America Leadership Team, and she is the Executive Sponsor of the Kraft Heinz Women’s Business Resource Group.

Prior to joining Kraft Heinz, Renée led the end-to-end Supply Chain for Mars Petcare North America, based in Franklin, Tennessee.  During her 5 year tenure, Renée and her teams designed and launched the execution of a large scale and complex supply chain transformation, including a digital revolution, strategic manufacturing redundancy, and distribution network restructuring.   She was the Executive Sponsor of the Women of Mars and a Pedigree Foundation Board Member.

Prior to joining Mars, Renée led Procurement, External Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Risk Management for the Cheese & Dairy Business Unit of Kraft Foods for 3 years.  She represented Kraft as a Board Member for several key dairy industry associations, and she was a Kraft Purpose Ambassador.

From 2008 to 2012, Renée was the VP of Global Supply Chain & Quality Assurance for Le Pain Quotidien, an international chain of Belgian organic bakery-cafés.   Prior to that, she spent 10 years at Friendly Ice Cream, an ice cream manufacturer and chain of casual dining restaurants.  Earlier in her career, Renée spent 5 years at Deloitte & Touche, where she earned her CPA license in 1997.  She received the Pet Industry’s Women of Influence award in 2017.
