When Prices Jump, Dairy Products Not Like Gasoline, Tipton Says
In the June 29 issue of Cheese Market News, IDFA President and CEO Connie Tipton notes that when high prices hit, consumers have only one choice for filling their gas tanks, but they have plenty of options for filling their refrigerators. "All dairy products could be affected by the current run-up in farm prices," Tipton said. "And we all need to understand what this can mean for consumption."
