DEIP Notice: USDA Invites Offers on Reallocated Cheese, Effective Today

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued an Invitation for Offers, effective May 28, for 465 tons of reallocated cheese under its Dairy Export Incentive Program (DEIP).

DEIP quantities for this fiscal year (July 2001 through June 2002) allowed for 3,030 tons of cheese. The entire cheese allocation was filled soon after invitations were offered last year, but these 465 tons were not shipped by the end of March 2002. In compliance with DEIP rules, this tonnage is now being made available through reallocation.
