IDFA Announces Two New Vice Presidents in Marketing Group

(Washington, D.C. — October 23, 2006) Tom Nagle, senior vice president of marketing for the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), has announced two new vice presidents in IDFA's marketing group who will work closely on the National Milk Mustache "got milk?" Campaign. Julia Kadison will join IDFA as vice president, marketing, and Julie Buric has been promoted to the position of vice president, marketing.

Kadison has worked with IDFA and the Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) for several years as a consultant at Beverage Marketing Corporation in New York, where she most recently served as managing director and chief operating officer. In this position, she has overseen many strategic planning and assessment projects for MilkPEP, as well as for many of the best known beverage brands in the country.

Before joining Beverage Marketing Corporation, Kadison was a market analyst for Abitibi-Price Sales Corporation, an international manufacturing and marketing company. She received a B.S. degree from Emory University and an M.B.A. degree in marketing from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Kadison will join the IDFA staff at the end of November and plans to move to the Washington, D.C. metro-area with her husband, Steve O'Donnell.

"We are thrilled to have Julia join IDFA. She not only brings world class knowledge, experience, and skill, but she is already a known and trusted member of the MilkPEP/IDFA team," said Nagle.

Buric, who has worked for IDFA for seven years, most recently served as senior director of promotional marketing. She oversees all MilkPEP promotions, business-to-business initiatives and the Fluid Milk Strategic Thinking Initiative, an industry-wide "think-tank" project designed to build volume and share for milk.

Prior to joining IDFA, Buric worked at Tracy Locke, a promotion agency, on the Pepsi-Cola campaigns. She's also worked for Earl Palmer Brown, an advertising agency where she managed several accounts, including Roy Rogers, Bob's Big Boy and Weight Watchers.

Buric earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.

"Julie has been a key leader of the MilkPEP/IDFA team for many years, and is well-known for her strategic marketing expertise, effective management and leadership," Nagle said. "She is exceptionally well regarded inside IDFA, in the industry and among our board members, and she enjoys the trust and respect of all who work with her."
