Newest Partner Beverage Marketing Corporation Boosts Beverage-Specific Features of Worldwide Food Expo

Leading Market Researcher to Sponsor
"Beverage Market Workshops" and Bev Expo Zone

Worldwide Food Expo 2003 is pleased to announce that the Beverage Marketing Corporation (BMC), the leading information and advisory source to the beverage industry, has joined the growing list of show sponsors. Worldwide Food Expo '03, the premier showcase of products and services for the global food industry, will be held October 29 - November 1, 2003, at McCormick Place in Chicago. BMC, the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) are the latest show sponsors to join Expo in recent months.

Specifically, BMC will expand Expo's already substantial educational programming by presenting a series of sessions that cover beverage distribution, finance, logistics, sales and marketing, merchandising, production and processing, packaging and more. These targeted workshops will be held in conjunction with the Bev Expo Zone, the IBWA Bottled Water Pavilion, and milk and juice processing exhibits on the extensive show floor. What's more, access to the new BMC workshops, the other 50+ educational sessions, and entrance to the show floor is all included in the Expo registration fee.

"We're excited to be a part of Worldwide Food Expo and to share our vast resources and knowledge about the burgeoning beverage industry with the many beverage industry attendees we expect at this year's show," said Bruce Klion, BMC vice president for business development.

"Having BMC on board is another strong step in building the beverage portion of Worldwide Food Expo." added Tip Tipton, president and CEO of the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), one of Expo's primary sponsors. "We are thrilled by the ever-increasing interest we have among beverage leaders, who view Worldwide Food Expo as the primary beverage technology event of the year."

Extensive beverage programming is just one of the specific show features designed to attract a robust beverage audience to Expo. In addition to the wide-ranging food equipment and technology exhibits showcased on the show floor, the Bev Expo Zone — featuring IBWA's Bottled Water Pavilion — will highlight innovations in processing, packaging and formulation of waters, juices, dairy beverages and non-carbonated and carbonated beverages of all kinds.

The Food, Dairy & Beverage Exposition in the South Hall of McCormick Place, sponsored by IDFA, the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS), IBWA and AFFI will also include a Product Development Pavilion, and hundreds of other exhibits displaying innovations in food and beverage processing, packaging, distribution, supplies and services. The food, dairy and beverage event is co-located with the American Meat Institute's (AMI) International Meat, Poultry and Seafood Exposition.

"We're building Expo to be the largest trade show for beverage packaging, ingredient and formulation technologies, processing innovations and more." said Charlie Bray, president of IAFIS. "This is a key opportunity for suppliers to reach a broad food audience that includes buyers from all segments of the beverage industry."
