IDFA is encouraging members to nominate shining examples for two of the association’s annual honors.

Innovative Dairy Farmer of the Year Award

IDFA and Dairy Herd Management are seeking nominations for the 21st Innovative Dairy Farmer of the Year. They are looking for active U.S. dairy farms that have embraced innovation and technology, as well as industry collaboration and partnerships, to achieve greater productivity and growth. Nominees will be judged on current methods as well as their positioning to meet future economic and business challenges.

Nominations must be submitted by Sept. 28, 2018, and there is no fee to enter.

Complete award criteria and a nomination form are available here.

Food Safety Leadership Award

IDFA is also seeking nominations for its 2019 Food Safety Leadership Award. The award, now in its third year, will honor a group or organization selected from the association’s membership for demonstrating outstanding leadership toward enhancing food safety within the dairy products industry. The award alternates between honoring companies or groups in odd-numbered years and individuals in even-numbered years.

IDFA is accepting nominations through September 30, 2018. There is no fee to enter.

The criteria for nominations are available at IDFA Food Safety Leadership Award.
