Kroger, Nestlé, Tyson Foods, Unilever and Walmart are just a few of the major food companies and retailers that have incorporated blockchain technology, a digital ledger of transactions, to increase transparency and enhance food safety along their supply chain.

On August 7, IDFA is providing dairy companies with the opportunity to hear directly from blockchain pioneer Frank Yiannas, Walmart’s vice president for food safety.

He’ll provide insights on how the dairy industry can apply this tool. The association will host a webinar at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time (no cost to members).

IDFA is offering the webinar as a part of its new Knowledge Center, a members-only resource to provide dairy executives and professionals with business intelligence and best practices that are relevant to the dairy industry. Visit IDFA’s Knowledge Center here.
