How can fluid milk processors use the Olympics to connect millions of consumers with milk and highlight its nutritional value? Join Julia Kadison, CEO of the Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP), and a special guest at Dairy Forum on January 26 as they announce an unprecedented long-term partnership between milk, the United States Olympic Committee and Team USA.

“This is a game-changing partnership for our industry and an opportunity for local milk companies to continue to support their communities all year long. I can’t think of a better partner for milk, with its protein and nutrient package, than Team USA,” said Kadison in a statement released yesterday.

The session, “Milk Builds Champions: A Groundbreaking Partnership and Game Changer for Milk Brands,” will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 9 a.m. Mountain time. If you are unable to attend Dairy Forum, you can watch this session live online for free. For more information and to register for online viewing, visit the Dairy Forum Broadcast Live website.

Retail Dynamics

Also on January 26, MilkPEP is hosting a second session titled “Dairy Dynamics at Retail: Opportunities for Growth.” Changes in shopper behavior and the proliferation of new products competing with milk for space in the dairy case have caused dramatic changes in the retail landscape in recent years.

Genevieve Poirier-Richards, senior vice president of marketing for MilkPEP, and Doug Adams, president and owner of Prime Consulting, will provide a fresh assessment of the dairy case and shoppers, leveraging insights from Prime Consulting and Willard Bishop, a consumer packaged goods consulting firm. The presenters will highlight growth opportunities, best practices and insights to maximize processor sales and retailer profit in the grocery and convenience channels.

Dairy Forum will be held January 24-27 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. To learn more and view the full agenda, visit the Dairy Forum website.
