Following China’s implementation of a new food safety law in August, China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) announced last week that it will adopt an upgraded registration filing management system starting October 1. Although the registration process has changed, the Foreign Agricultural Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture said the information requirements are still based on the system established in 2012.

U.S. exporters who have not previously registered can log into the system here to complete their registrations.
