USDA Forecasts Slight Decrease in U.S. Sugar Supply

The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report, released on Monday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, reflects a slight decrease in projected U.S. sugar supply for fiscal year 2014/15.

It lowers last month’s projection from 13,919 short tons, raw value, to 13,910 STRV. The projected stock-to-use ratio for fiscal year 2014/15 decreased to 13.6 percent, down from 13.7 percent last month.
