USDA Forecasts Slight Increase in U.S. Sugar Supply

The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report, released on December 10 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, reflects a slight increase in projected U.S. sugar supply for fiscal year 2014/15.

It raises last month’s projection from 13,729 short tons, raw value, to 13,919 STRV. The projected stock-to-use ratio for fiscal year 2014/15 increased to 13.7 percent, up from 12.1 percent last month.
