IDFA released today a call for topics and speakers for two annual spring conferences, the Ice Cream Technology Conference and the Milk and Cultured Dairy Products Conference.



Ice Cream Technology Conference

March 31- April 1, 2015

IDFA is seeking topic ideas for possible presentations or panel discussions at the 2015 Ice Cream Technology Conference.

This premier event for frozen dessert professionals, the Ice Cream Technology Conference is the only meeting that focuses specifically on frozen dessert research, technology, new market trends and opportunities. Ice Cream Tech encourages an open exchange among participants and experts on the technical and practical processing issues pertinent to the frozen dessert industry. The meeting features networking opportunities and product tasting, including the annual Innovative Ice Cream Flavor Competition.

Areas of interest for topics are:

  • Consumer trends, retail sales and product marketing data;
  • Food Safety, quality and auditing systems for frozen desserts;
  • Innovations in processing, freezing and packaging equipment for ice cream and novelties;
  • Novel ingredients, flavoring and sweeteners for the ice cream industry; and
  • Efficiency, cost-saving ideas and sustainability improvements for processing, packaging, sanitation and distribution.

Complete the topic submission form and submit it to IDFA by November 28, 2014. IDFA will contact you by January 5, 2015, if your recommendation is accepted.  It may be helpful to review the 2014 agenda for reference.

Milk and Cultured Dairy Products Conference

IDFA is gathering ideas on topics and speakers for possible presentations or panel discussions at the 2015 IDFA Milk and Cultured Dairy Products Conference.  This conference will showcase the most recent developments in ingredients, processing technology and packaging, as well as look at new products entering the market.  Industry peers and experts will empower attendees with fresh new ideas to help their companies grow and prosper.  The conference includes the annual Innovative Dairy Product Contest.

Areas of interest for papers are:

  • Consumer trends, retail sales and product marketing data;
  • Quality, nutrition and shelf-life enhancement for milk and cultured dairy products;
  • Innovations in processing and packaging;
  • Novel ingredients, cultures, flavoring and sweeteners for the dairy industry; and
  • Efficiency, cost-saving ideas and sustainability improvements for processing, packaging and distribution.

Submissions from industry experts, suppliers and academia are encouraged.  It may be helpful to review the 2014 agenda for reference.
