“After almost 25 years of working together, we are saying goodbye to a dear friend and colleague, Clay Detlefsen, this week,” said Connie Tipton, IDFA president and CEO. “I am proud of all that Clay has achieved for IDFA, our member companies and the dairy industry.”

Clay Detlefsen is vice president of regulatory affairs and counsel at IDFA. His last day at IDFA will be August 15.

“The programs and projects that IDFA has developed with Clay and our team of subject matter experts will continue, and IDFA will provide the expertise that has proven to be so critical to the advancement of our member companies and other stakeholders,” Tipton said.

“Fortunately, Clay is not leaving the industry. He has accepted an offer from the National Milk Producers Federation to focus on sustainability and environmental issues that will have a positive impact throughout the entire dairy community.

“All of us at IDFA wish Clay continued success in his career and ask you to join us in thanking him for his contributions to IDFA, our members and the industry during his years at IDFA,” she concluded.
