Understanding FDA’s Food Nutrition Label Makeover Webinar
Learn more about the Food and Drug Administration’s proposed makeover of the Nutrition Facts panel at IDFA’s new webinar. It will take an in-depth look at the proposed regulations and analyze their potential impact on dairy products. Led by IDFA’s outside legal counsel and staff labeling experts, the webinar is a must for dairy company employees.
The webinar will take place April 22, 2:00-3:30 p.m. Eastern time.
Hands-on Microbiological Testing and Laboratory Practices Course
Developed by IDFA and Chestnut Labs, this new, career-building course is offered exclusively for dairy industry professionals with food safety responsibilities. The course includes extensive hands-on exercises and top laboratory practices in food safety.
This three-day course will be held April 29-May 1, in Springfield, Mo.
Dairy Plant Food Safety Workshop
For a unique learning experience focused specifically on food safety, IDFA’s Dairy Plant Food Safety Workshop will help dairy processing facilities improve pathogen control practices, including PEM, sanitation and sanitary design. Co-sponsored by IDFA and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, the workshop will provide practical information about procedures and skills used to control pathogens in dairy plants.
The workshop will take place April 29-30, in Kansas City, Mo.
Milk and Cultured Dairy Conference
This dynamic and information-rich conference will focus entirely on milk, flavored milk, milk products and cultured dairy products. It will feature the most recent developments in ingredients, processing technology and packaging, and the annual Innovative Product Contest.
IDFA will host the Milk and Cultured Dairy Conference May 20-21, in Indianapolis.
Dairy Accounting and Finance Workshop
To provide insight into how a financial professional in the dairy industry can bring additional value to a company, IDFA invites Herbein + Company, Inc., to discuss the ins and outs of milk pricing, tax credits, cost segregation, federal and state milk reports, cost centers and how to measure plant efficiency. Herbein + Company is a professional service firm serving as an advisor to dairy companies for more than thirty years.
