MilkPEP Defends Flavored Milk, Combats Alternatives and Myths

Mar 21, 2012

The Milk Processor Education Program will hold a webinar for processors tomorrow to unveil the details of its proactive campaign to help the industry in three key areas: flavored milk, milk imitators or alternatives, and milk myths.

MilkPEP will discuss its efforts to defend and protect flavored milk in schools, combat market penetration from milk imitators such as soy or almond beverages, and debunk common myths wrongly associated with milk consumption. The webinar also will identify school districts where flavored milk has been eliminated or is in jeopardy of elimination.
