'Dairy Research Insights' Offers Good News to Cheese Manufacturers

The August edition of "Dairy Research Insights," with reviews of the latest nutrition, product and sustainability research, is now available online.

Highlights include a new observational study from Sweden indicating that the consumption of total dairy products is associated with a significantly lower risk for cardiovascular disease. It also reviews recent research from Utah State University that offers good news to manufacturers of value-added fortified cheeses.

The findings for the e-newsletter are selected and interpreted each month by members of the Dairy Research Institute's team of scientists. Read the August issue here
