The U.S. House of Representatives approved last Wednesday the Conference Report for the Fiscal Year 2010 Agriculture Appropriations bill by a vote of 263 to 162. The U.S. Senate approved it the following day by a vote of 76 to 22. The bill, which includes an additional $350 billion to assist dairy farmers, will now go to President Obama for his expected signature.
