On August 25, 2008, the state of Ohio filed its response to IDFA's Motion for Summary Judgment regarding the labeling of dairy products from cows that have not been treated with artificial growth hormones. (See IDFA Files Lawsuit to Stop Ohio's Unfair Labeling Law.) This response took the form of a Motion by Ohio for Summary Judgment and a Memorandum in opposition to IDFA's Motion. Two affidavits and an exhibit were attached to this filing. Also, the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation and the Ohio Dairy Producers Association filed an amicus brief in support of Ohio on August 22.

IDFA now has until September 16, 2008, to reply to the Ohio filings.
