IDFA's Dairy Product Labeling Webinar Series offers two sessions to help members produce compliant and effective product labels. The first session, July 10, 1:00–3:30 p.m. ET, will offer an introduction to dairy product labeling, covering nutrient pitfalls, calculating serving sizes and trans fat declarations. During the second session, July 17, 1:00–3:30 p.m., Geraldine June, a member of the Food Labeling and Standards staff at the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, will discuss possible future developments in labeling. This session also will cover the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Organic Program requirements, along with labeling guidelines for natural and rbST claims.
