IDFA to Offer Dairy Product Labeling Webinar Series in July

IDFA's Dairy Product Labeling Webinar Series offers two sessions to help members produce compliant and effective product labels. The first session, July 10, 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Eastern time, will offer an introduction to dairy product labeling, covering nutrient pitfalls, calculating serving sizes and trans fat declarations. It will also review requirements for the statement of identity, ingredient declarations, allergens labeling, and labeling terms and symbols, such as Grade A, the Real Seal and kosher. The second session, July 17, 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Eastern time, will review current hot topics, such as organic labeling, rbST claims, health claim opportunities and proposed regulations.
