2007 PMO, Other NCIMS Documents Now Available Online

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released the electronic version of the 2007 Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO), containing all of the changes from last year's meeting of the National Conference of Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS). FDA also released the 2007 Revisions to the Method of Making Sanitation Ratings of Milk Shippers (MMSR) and Procedures Governing the Cooperative State-Public Health Service/Food Drug Administration Program of the Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments. IDFA and more than 50 Milk Industry Foundation members successfully advocated for many of the changes, which directly affect state inspection of Grade A dairy farms and will provide more flexibility for dairy processors.
