Ohio Department of Agriculture Releases New Labeling Rule on rbST

Governor Ted Strickland of Ohio issued an emergency Executive Order mandating the immediate adoption and implementation of new rules regarding the labeling of milk and milk products sold in the state. IDFA is currently reviewing this action, which is similar to the labeling controversy that recently occurred in Pennsylvania, and plans to hold a conference call on Tuesday afternoon for interested IDFA members.
