IDFA Call for Papers 2009 Meetings IDFA invites you to submit topic ideas for the 2009 conferences listed below. Each conference link includes a description of the conference, along with links to the 2008 agenda and presentations and an online topic submission form. The deadline for submitting topic ideas is December 5, 2008. We will contact you by January 2, 2009, if we decide to use your topic for one of our conferences. IDFA's Ice Cream Technology Conference is the only meeting that focuses specifically on frozen dessert technology. You will join other technical personnel in an interactive and open discussion of the latest technologies and regulatory hurdles of the ice cream industry.
2009 Sustainability Workshop March 11-13, 2009 Dallas, Tex. Responding to growing industry interest in sustainable production and products, IDFA has developed a new Sustainability Workshop. The workshop will help members meet the challenges of monitoring and reducing the amount of energy, water and chemicals used throughout each product's lifecycle. Attendees also will hear highlights from successful case studies and review initiatives currently underway in other food industries. 2008 Milk Technology Conference June 2009 St Louis, Mo. Milk Tech encourages an open exchange among participants on the technical issues pertinent to the fluid milk industry, such as production and ingredient technologies, product safety and labeling.
2009 Cultured Dairy Products Conference June 2009 St Louis, Mo. This specialized conference is designed to provide information specific to the manufacturing and selling of cultured dairy foods. The program will cover marketing, technology, safety and quality issues for all cultured products.
