Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC)/Filtered Milk
There are domestic and international issues surrounding Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC) and filtered milk. The most current legislative issue involves attempts to create tariffs for imported MPC. Other legislation would bar the use of dried MPC in domestic cheesemaking, an action that IDFA believes is unnecessary and potentially harmful.
