Dietary Guidelines Committee Holds Final Meeting; Does Not Issue Report
The final public meeting of the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee was held Thursday and offered insights into possible recommendations it may make regarding dairy products. The Committee's recommendations will influence the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, which forms the basis for federal nutrition policy, including the school meal programs and the WIC program. The release of the final report is expected in June.
