Milk Crate Legislation Passes in Maryland
Maryland legislators passed a bill earlier this month that will help to prevent the disappearance of milk crates and other reusable plastic containers, like those used by bakeries and soft drink companies. The bill requires written records of transactions involving four or more milk crates, and sellers must prove they are legal owners of those milk crates. It will take effect October 1.
